definitely need this one!
This item is still queued up in the backlog. No additional details are available at this moment.
We see a big need for this one. Different groups will use Teams in different ways. An engineering team for example will use Teams very different than a marketing team. For our engineering teams, we'd like to be able to define a set of default channels and tabs that tailor to their needs.
Hi everyone, I wanted to check in on this ask because it’s died down since GA, and also because the ask is not totally clear to me.
Right now, we provide a way during the team creation process for you to select an existing Office 365 group. Are you asking to be able to do this same thing, but outside of Teams?
Do let me know!
We see that we can add an AD group to a Team but it's static meaning the individual users will be added. But if another user gets added to that AD group tomorrow, this new person will not dynamically be added to the Team. This is a pretty basic and what's needed.
Thanks for following our suggestion to vote this up on SharePoint. It worked! SharePoint has confirmed that they have already started working on this and I’ll be getting an ETA from them after the holidays. -Suphatra
Some of my users have complained about this one. We have a string of conversations that are one sentences at a time because people want to have a carriage return. I'll suggest to them shift-enter for now but would be nice if this was perhaps a user configurable setting.
Thank you so much for your support of the product. This request was particularly helpful and we appreciate your engagement in the surveys, comments and forum to help us design this feature. Please continue to submit ideas!
For this item, we’re making great progress. It has now entered TAP validation with a small group of tenants. Will let you know how that goes!
Yep, need this one. We've been promoting Teams but have no current way to track usage and success.
This feature item is still in the works. We will keep you posted as we have new info from the feature team.
Thanks to everyone who volunteered for testing the Office 365 group calendar. The TAP team will be reaching out as we are closer to being ready.
