I agree. This should be a very simple thing to add in Outlook to make it much easier to transition to Teams.
This request has been accepted by the feature team and is now on the backlog!
I really miss this feature. I work with two screens most of the time, and not being able to utilize them in meetings in Teams is frustrating.
I had a chat group with 3 members in total. It was in the "recent" list, but it eventually faded away from this. To find it again, search didn't work. I had to click the "create new chat" button and add the members to get back to the chat. Please make sure that when I type a person's name in the search box it also gives results of group chats where that person is.
This feature is in final internal testing and will be released soon. We’ll update when it is closer to release.
We are working on supporting more than 4 videos in a Teams meeting. We don’t have a date to share, but will update as we get closer to completion.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news. This item has been declined. There will be no work to hide or remove the reply button.
As many people have commented, a big ask is to help improve how people distinguish between giving a reply and starting a new message.
For that the focus will be on this item. “Better visual delineation between `Reply` and `Start a new conversation`”
