Thank you all very much for the great response. The survey is now closed. The feature team will be reviewing all the data that was gathered and responded based on the findings.
Again, thank you for helping us make Microsoft Teams the best it can be.

This feature request has been declined by the feature team. However, the feature team is working on design changes to better help differentiate Teams files.
Which hopefully will help alleviate the confusion users are experiencing when when trying to identify SharePoint files versus Teams files.-Warren

As mentioned in the prior status, the channel limit was raised from 100 to 200.
In the near future a retention limit will be set so you can still go back and reinstate a channel you had deleted. Once the retention period has expired then the channel will get a hard delete which will free up the space and no longer count toward the 200 channel limit.
This will help with some of the issues you have voiced in the comments below.
But I understand many of you wish the limit to be further increased. I will continue to provide your votes and comments to the feature team.-Warren

Hey everyone — Suphatra’s back! And I’m on the case with this item.
I talked to engineering and I think they don’t understand this request. The requests says “Admin App” — do you mean Admin Center? The O365 portal?
Also, what exactly do you envision for central administration — for example — what can you do now, can’t do, and would like to do with this new feature.
Your feedback will help me get the team to put more resources into this. Thank you!

Thank you so much for your support of the product. This request was particularly helpful and we appreciate your engagement in the surveys, comments and forum to help us design this feature. Please continue to submit ideas!
For this item, we’re making great progress. It has now entered TAP validation with a small group of tenants. Will let you know how that goes!

O365 Global Admins should be able to approve potential apps & connectors. Right now the permission setting is either all open or everything closed, with no ability for admins to have a pre-approved list of apps & connectors that Team owners/members can use while restricting access to apps & connectors that the business doesn't want used.
