    Performance has been and continues to be a big focus area for Teams. One main area we have made improvements in is responsiveness for the most frequent user actions of switching between Chat, Channel, and Activity. We are also focused on reducing resource consumption and application load time. More improvements are on the way.

    i have this one issue when ever i do a video or just a voice call with a very specific user in the organization it locks up teams on both of our sides. The call will stay up and we can talk but the teams client basically becomes un responsive. Even when we hangup the client just hangs and just sits at using 15-30% cpu. It's the oddest thing as this only happens when calling this one user.

    it be nice to have more work done on performance and fixing existing features then adding more random features with more bugs. All the new app integrations are nice and all but when the core is slow the integrations mean nothing.

    +1 here running Microsoft Teams Version 1.0.00.34151 and things just seem sluggish. I also have this one issue with one specific person that if I do video or voice with them teams shoots up to 100% cpu and basically becomes unusable. What even weirder is if we do a teams meeting with multiple people including this one other user it works fine, it's just when its one to one. We have both fully uninstalled and reinstalled and issue persist. I would like to also echo the sluggishness of just clicking between chat windows and teams it takes 3-10 seconds for things to pop up.

    to give a little bit more form my last msg, scrolling up and down in a chat seems sluggish, switching between chat and teams is quit sluggish. Like others have mentioned it does not feel responsive.

    343MB for me on OSX and competing with chrome, slack is using 56mb

    Me again. The team says this bug is happening when the user is at 85% zoom on Teams. Can you check to see if you are, and if the problem goes away if you go to a different zoom level? Please comment on this thread or email me at sparavi@microsoft.com with what you find, so I can crush this bug. Thank you!

    We know you are patiently waiting for this feature. This feature is being implemented in stages. Fast tenant switching is currently in testing both internally and with early customers. We expect to release to the public in the Fall. I’ll post an update once it’s rolling out.

    Full multi-tenant, multi-user support will be added after fast tenant switching.

    one thing to add to the compact is to combine multiple messages into one bubble when messages are sent within seconds of each other. That would cut a lot of space as well. google hangouts does this fairly nicely.

    we are seeing this as well in consistent notifications. Running a google nexus 6 running android version 8.1.0 and teams version 1416/1.0.0.2018081401. I also run google hangouts and whats app and i never feel like I have to constantly open those apps to confirm if i've missed a notifications, where as with teams I have to open up the app to confirm, as it's been so in consistent with both team and chat showing up.

    This feature request is still being reviewed. The team is working hard to make numerous changes with regards to notifications, but they haven’t forgotten about this item.
