    Same here. It kills me that I can't catch up on a group chat because everyone keeps sending new messages and I get auto scrolled to the bottom.

    I too have OCD when it comes to notification badges. I am constantly clicking the activity page to clear the badge when I know I have already see the thumbs up, or whatever in the actual thread I am chatting in

    User rights restriction is key to this feature though. You dont want every employee to be able to post to the public channel without manager approval, etc.

    This would be another great asset to send out emergency messaging to all employees.

    Rather than an auto-reply, I think there should be a small tooltip type message saying "Its outside this users business hours, they may not reply until they are back in the office"

    It would also be helpful to have a like button and an "read" button that would mark the message as read and remove the badge icon for that message.

    I agree that resources (rooms) should be able to log in to Teams and act as a call endpoint rather than each person who uses the room logging in & out with personal creds.

    Yes please! If i upload a file and hit the send button, just let the message continue sending after the upload is complete. I hate having to wait around for the upload to finish before I can hit the send button again.

    This default should be available to the company administrator to set in the Teams settings, then the owner of each team should be able to override, followed by the member being able to override notifications only.

    An outlook "connector" would be ok that can be configured to show only unread email messages, etc. We dont want teams being another outlook clone.

    Hey everyone — Suphatra’s back! And I’m on the case with this item.

    I talked to engineering and I think they don’t understand this request. The requests says “Admin App” — do you mean Admin Center? The O365 portal?

    Also, what exactly do you envision for central administration — for example — what can you do now, can’t do, and would like to do with this new feature.

    Your feedback will help me get the team to put more resources into this. Thank you!

    Agreed. I am super annoyed as an administrator every time Microsoft adds a new application that affects group creation. I don't want end users creating thousands of their own groups that potentially overlap or are redundant. If I turn off group creation for end users in O365 Admin, then make it global
