Skype for Business has this and it's really frustrating not having it with Teams - Like others I often have teams minimised and to come off mute etc. I have to bring teams back up, the overlay present in both Skype and S4B (as well as every other calling app on Windows) is needed here

I remember something like this being shown off previously as a concept. You had a fake car interior on stage to demonstrate joining from the car, then taking the meeting from phone to PC without ever dropping from it to reconnect on another device

This feature is still in the works. There was some adjustments to the overall strategy.
I’ll try to get some additional details and share them with you.

The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today. The feature team is continuing to work on support for multiple accounts on desktop. We’ll keep you posted as we have more details.

Disappointed, but understand. I've faced the same resource constraints on projects. I've seen the rumours and leaked images online that say "Skype for Business is now Microsoft Teams", but I hope this won't be forced - Teams needs features such as this one before it can even come close to being a full replacement.

    Hi @Suphatra,

I work for a consultancy and I am in different teams on different days - I always need to be connected to my own team as we have internal projects I am also working on.

Right now, I have to open one in the web, and one in the app but I want to be able to access both from the application.

I either need the client to be able to invite me to their MS Teams using my email address at the company I work for (So, allow external users to collaborate) or to be able to run two (or more) instances of Teams, and be signed into each one with a different account.

    1. I have not experienced this

    2. I am using teams so I can collaborate w/ the clients employees, and I also need to be able to collaborate w/ my team back at the office on our internal projects

    3. As described above, working with multiple clients; Sometimes working with 2-3 in a single day. Signing in and out or opening various browsers w/ private tabs etc. is cumbersome

The only small workaround, which isn't ideal is to login to different browsers and use the web version - However, as far as I know the web app does not support Web Notifications in Edge and Chrome (I could be wrong though)

I definitely need this too. I want to be able to use three instances (I'd have them on a separate virtual desktop each for ease):

    - The company I work
    - The client I am working for at the time
    - My own small business

I would be happy to either run multiple processes and each one is logged into a different version of the app, or be able to login to multiple accounts and see the teams from each of them all under the Teams section and just use them naturally from there.

Multiple instances is better for my personal workflow as I try to make use of Virtual desktops to keep focussed on one at a time.
