We acknowledge the customer demand for Private Channels and have been hard at work on it. Private Channels is currently in preview with a select group of customers. We expect to release the feature to the public later this Fall, and will update here when we are starting to roll out to all customers. We appreciate all the feedback you have provided to us on this forum and thank you for your patience.
This is in internal testing. I don’t have exact timing for you, but wanted to let you know it is coming!
You should experience significant improvements in copy & paste of images within Teams, as well as to & from Teams. We are aware of a few remaining issues, but the most common cases are resolved.
Thanks again for your patience on this one.
This is still being worked upon. I hope to have more details in the next couple months.

The data export needs to be able to enable Team "Administrators" to download the chat, files, etc to a zip file that can be stored elsewhere, not just on SharePoint.
I anticipate creating a team or a channel for every single project our company gets. At the end of the project, we need to be able to wrap-up the Team data into the central project directory for filing and retention for 7-years. We are civil engineers, so for companies like us, our CAD & GIS data is not appropriate for SharePoint storage, so it is essential that the Team data goes to the project directory, not vice-versa.
This feature request is working its way through the backlog queue. No new details are available yet.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news. This item has been declined. There will be no work to hide or remove the reply button.
As many people have commented, a big ask is to help improve how people distinguish between giving a reply and starting a new message.
For that the focus will be on this item. “Better visual delineation between `Reply` and `Start a new conversation`”
