    Yes - people go crazy creating stuff and we must be able to fix the damage. This was something that was never allowed for in Yammer, making Yammer next to useless.

    Timeline is my preference - maybe a "in response to" in order to look at a "thread" if you need to see the history of a particular conversation is good. Yammer suffers horribly from "threads" - don't repeat it here!

    The desktop app doesn't make good use of screen real estate. On a large monitor, you end up with a narrow column that doesn't get wider to fit the window size, and then of course you get messages that go over multiple lines, when you could have so much more information on the screen at once.
