Thank you for your feedback! We are updating this as “Partialy Done” as our first step to solving for pinned posts has been released! Pinned posts allows users from a team to pin a message for everyone in the channel to be able to easily reference. While any message can be pinnable, we expect our users to use this feature to pin information like channel guidelines or important announcements. We know this doesn’t solve all pinning scenarios, and that there is still a need to make this easier for users to find, especially within the message list. We will share another update as soon as it is available.

The ability to turn off emojis is still being worked upon.

Also, there is work to create a compact mode which will also help reduce white space… which in turn will impact some of the complaints are far as wasted space from the emojis as well, that have been voiced in the comments.

    Stay tuned for more details.

Thank you for your continued feedback! We are happy to share that we have rolled out 800+ emojis to our Desktop and Web platforms, with Mobile rolling out in the coming months. This update includes 6 skin tone options, different genders for applicable emojis, and emojis featuring people with disabilities. Please note that you can also add native OS emojis using “Win + .” shortcut in Windows and “Cmd + Ctrl + Space” in MacOS.

Today, you can add a custom meme with your own caption in the Sticker/Memes feature. To learn more, please visit https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/send-an-emoji-gif-or-sticker-in-teams-174248c9-e64d-4de1-9f41-3199cc0751ad.

I have this issue too. As our company begins to adopt Teams as a unified communications platform, it makes it difficult to determine if a team already exists since Private teams do not show up in the directory listing. I can go into O365 online and see there are other private office groups, however, there are two issues: 1. I have to go outside of Teams to verify 2. In O365 I still cant tell if the group is Teams enabled.

Additional functionality for either another type of team, such as 'Hidden' or 'Stealth', or an option on a Private team to be excluded from the directory listing within Teams.

    Best regards,

    --Mark

This is currently in Preview – planned to release very soon.

In the following weeks, Teams will be rolling out support on Safari 11+ on macOS. While in preview, there are known issues with Safari’s ITP mode and it is advised that users disable Safari’s Intelligent Tracking Prevention.
