We’re pleased to confirm the Teams client for Linux will be available in preview by the end of this calendar year, enabling people who use Linux client at work or in educational institutions to collaborate with others on Teams. Users will be able to install native Linux packages in .deb and .rpm formats.

No rush now. We have moved on. RingCentral is our solution. Feel free to stop developing MS Teams at all.
We’re currently working on defining a compact mode experience. I will post more details when we have more to share.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this feature request has been declined.

Or at a minimum let us hide Files or move Files to the end of the Tabs so it is not so easy to find. We are using an existing SharePoint Document library via the Tabs functionality and we really don't want new content (other than the gifs that people upload as part of Conversations) to slip into the default Files doc library.
Hey everyone — Suphatra’s back! And I’m on the case with this item.
I talked to engineering and I think they don’t understand this request. The requests says “Admin App” — do you mean Admin Center? The O365 portal?
Also, what exactly do you envision for central administration — for example — what can you do now, can’t do, and would like to do with this new feature.
Your feedback will help me get the team to put more resources into this. Thank you!
I’m switching the status to Partially Done.
