Thanks for following our suggestion to vote this up on SharePoint. It worked! SharePoint has confirmed that they have already started working on this and I’ll be getting an ETA from them after the holidays. -Suphatra

This still exists. I wonder if it is the Teams team that should fix it since After renaming the channel Teams is still using the old name for the sharepoint library. This feels like Teams is storing a name and not a folder guid to reference the folder and there is no documented way to change this reference. It should be stored somewhere in the channel definition of Teams !

    Johan Bennink commented  ·

It is also not possible to manually rename the sharepoint folder as Teams somewhere retains the original name

Because of this change in functionality I have moved away from onenote and reverted to using sharepoint Files tab and regular Word files for the moment. The original setup where the Onenote notebook resembled the teams structure was perfect. The use Link option does not seem to hide the notebook and section and still shows the entire notebook which is a mess. please support the original behavior. Until then I rather have the headache of sharepoint than work with onenote

I have the oppositie problem. I want to link a Onenote tab to a section (as previously was the standard behavior. But getting a section link from onenote that I past in the OneNote tab wizard always results in a onenote tab that points to the first section and page (and also displays all sections).

This feature request is still being worked upon. No additional status to share

    Items still in the works:
    2), 4), 5) and 7)

    Items we cannot repro:
    6) and it doesn’t appear people are hitting it, but let me know

Items that are completed and in the public release:
    1) and 3)

I have seen on discussion item post from VSTS that hase white-on-white text. If I look at the html in vsts portal it all looks the same so it must be some translation to the card layout that messes up. In my case there were 4 divs with text and the last one is OK but the first three have white-on-white. Can't put images here otherwise I would have pasted 2 screenshots

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this feature request has been declined.

Also (a bit outside the scope of this item perhaps) I noticed that naming conventions of these tabs differ when I open them in OneNote app. I have a "General_Notes" and "<channelname>_Notes but a newly created channel for which I added a OneNote tab has a "<channelname> - Onenote" so not _ but instead "_-_" _=space and the latter part is the tab name I created it with.

    Johan Bennink commented  ·

Possible a transition thing but older channels have a "OneNote" tab that cannot be removed whereas new channels don't start with a "OneNote" tab and when created that tab can be removed.

    Hi Sam,

You can drag and drop the tabs to display in the order you would like them in.

There are restrictions? A team I made in preview with a channel I made in preview Have tab order "Conversations" "Files" "OneNote" "Team Backlog items Board" where I cannot move the "OneNote" tab to the right of the Team Backlo..." one. And a new channel, made just today which started out without "OneNote" I made that and that does allow me to move it.
But neither can be moved left of the "Conversations" of "Files" so some restrictions seem in place? P.S. I'm using the App

We know you are patiently waiting for this feature. This feature is being implemented in stages. Fast tenant switching is currently in testing both internally and with early customers. We expect to release to the public in the Fall. I’ll post an update once it’s rolling out.

Full multi-tenant, multi-user support will be added after fast tenant switching.

What @Daniel Harris said. I work for two seperate companies which I would like to stay connected to at the same time. We also do contract work where I can image the use-case @Danial describes will arise in the future.

    1. Haven't seen this
    2. I need to collaborate with two teams. The solution using the web is the only option somewhat acceptable but I would like to be able to use the app. Also what Daniel suggest about external collaborators would be great since you could then use 1 account and not have to have a local account for each customer (although MS licensing would suffer :-O :-) )
    3. (see point 2)

@kaj isn't that what the "Incoming Webhook" connector is for?
