Same here, it cuts off half our participants from view because it's cropped oddly, and half our visual feed is taken up by users that don't even have video cameras, so all we see is their giant name initials instead of the video feed we're actually trying to see.
This feature request is now being reviewed by the feature team.
Stay tuned for more updates!
No new updates. We continue to work towards the S4B convergence.
Official roadmap for the convergence: https://skypeandteams.blob.core.windows.net/artefacts/Skype%20for%20Business%20to%20Teams%20Capabilities%20Roadmap.pdf
If someone else in my company tries to send me an IM using Skype for Business, it shows me as offline. But I am online in TEAMS. Why can't they reach me using Skype business? I have the "Chat with Skype Business" option turned on in TEAMS.
We are actively working on this.
1) and 3) are resolved.
6) We can’t reproduce, please let me know if you are hitting 6 in the comments.
2), 4), 5) and 7) are still being worked upon.
I’ll try to get some more updates posted soon.
Thank you all for the feedback!
This is still being worked upon.
This item items into the overall performance topic – http://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103/suggestions/17219609
This item is one on the couple dozen updates we are working on to make performance improvements. As we get closer to releasing these update I will let you know.
This item is actively being worked upon.
There are several dozen separate update pieces being worked upon that will provide an overall performance boost. As these updates get closer to completion I’ll provide a timeline as they prepare to roll out.
There is a lot of good progress, as I get more details I will share them. The survey was a huge help in pin pointing how we can best serve you with these updates.
Thank you for taking the time to provide additional feedback. The current survey has now been closed.
Our feature team will review the feedback and I hope to provide some additional info in the near future. For now this item will still be flagged as “on the backlog”.
I already provided feedback to the Feature Team about the question of ‘what chat applications you currently using’ only allowed a single selection to be chosen. As well as being clear that the ask is for sharing one’s screen without the need for video calling.
We appreciate your feedback and together making Teams a better product.
Everyone in my office thinks they have to jump back to SkypeBusiness to do a screen-share session, but in actuality you can do it with Teams if you make a call first. This isn't intuitive at all.
This item is on the backlog.
The team is working to determine the best way to implement this requested functionality.
I don’t have any additional info beyond that but I’ll keep working to get more details from the feature team.
I apologize, I need to post a correction.
This update has only made it to the inner rings of our testing. (Ring 2 users are now experiencing the support of Windows OS (desktop) quiet hours.) It hasn’t made it out to the public ring yet.
I sincerely apologize for posting an incorrect update. But it is getting pretty far along.
OS X (Mac) notification quiet hours are still in the works.
I’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available.
Thank you all for the feedback.
This is still under review.
As Suphatra mentioned, a lot of things will need to come together as this is a complex piece. I hope to have further details to share, but a this time it is still being investigated.
Thank you for all your feedback. I hope to have more news soon.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news. This item has been declined. There will be no work to hide or remove the reply button.
As many people have commented, a big ask is to help improve how people distinguish between giving a reply and starting a new message.
For that the focus will be on this item. “Better visual delineation between `Reply` and `Start a new conversation`”
This feature request is still in the works.
No big updates to share, but the feedback has been a huge help. So thank you all once again. As more details emerge from the feature team on the work being done, I will be sure to share it with you here.
We understand how important this ask is to you all and we are working to ensure it is implemented in a fashion that will meet your expectations.
No new updates, we are still working away on this.
The unified presence is getting closer to release! It is still in development and planning to launch in Q1 of 2018! (The Office 365 Roadmap can be found at: https://products.office.com/en-us/business/office-365-roadmap?featureid=24191#abc )
I’ll keep you posted as more information is shared!
This is still on the backlog. However, there is investigation into how we could make this happen. There are some complicated issues, but we are digging into it.
I’ll provide feedback as more insights are provided.
We recently updated the Planner tab to now support grouping cards by Progress, Assignment, Due Date, and Labels like you find in the Planner web app. (#7 on the list) We also added the ability to quickly filter down cards to what’s most relevant for you and your team.
The completed items are now 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8.
The remaining items (5 & 6) are still actively being worked upon and we hope to have some more update for you soon!
This is still being worked up. We are making progress which is good, but it’s not ready yet.
As I get more information I will be sure to update you all.
Good news, this feature request is being actively worked upon.
No timeline is available yet, but I’ll keep an eye on this item and post more updates as they come in.
Thank you all for the feedback!
