Great performance and user experience remain a topmost priority for us. Application launch time has seen improvements in the recent build. We will continue making improvements across the product including channel to chat switching and overall resource consumption.
It's mostly just piling on at this point, but in fairness I'm not too worried about the resources used, it's just SO DANG SLOW when clicking around in the interface. I can get over it taking a moment for data to sync, but man, the UI just needs to be way more responsive!
Please look into this. It's just so SLOW! I really like it, but sometimes it takes full seconds to switch between areas of the app, or between channels. I use skype a lot, and it's snappy and quick. Teams just lags...

Came here to suggest this. It would allow us to cut down to a single tool: Teams. Right now Skype functions as my "desk phone" and I have to keep it around for that. But if i could leverage that through Teams, well, it would be incredible.

The good news is, we’re actively working on this. We recently pushed an update that improved performance when channel switching and scrolling. So this should be considerably better for you.
