if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.
Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.

A bit silly that we have to go to such lengths to adjust the camera. Please add the same controls as in SfB, they already exist in Windows so it shouldn't be hard for Windows users of Teams at least.
I've resorted to using a virtual webcam setup. There are quite a few possibles including several that are free. I'm using OBS studio with the virtualcam plugin but only because I already had OBS installed, it does use a reasonable amount of CPU (up to about 15%) when active. You also have to start the virtual webcam before starting Teams. But it does give you a LOT of control. I'm sure that other tools are simpler though.

Honestly, this has been open for 3 years with no change! For goodness sake get it fixed please Microsoft.
I wouldn't even need to be doing it except for the failure to properly support guest access in Teams which means that I have to keep the Teams client open on one tenancy and use the browser for another.

Once support for Windows 10 native notifications is released, users who choose to use Windows notifications will be able to utilize Windows OS specific settings for the length of time to display notifications. Mac does not have an OS specific setting, so will not have the support.

This or something like it is required in order to be able to export conversations in order to retain a formal record.

Agree. This needs more focus. The ability to make the chosen background the default and to have backgrounds turned on by default.
