This gap in functionality is starting to cause us real pain. As MS directs us to do, we've been steering people to use their Team/Groups also for email distribution. However, when people are not following, they don't get the email. The owner also has no idea who is following and who is not. To make matters worse, the members list is not alphabetized which consumes a lot of effort just to see if someone has already been added as a member before proceeding to see if they are following. Why would something as simple as an alphabetized members list not be a default feature of Teams?
