This is something that our staff are looking for. We are likely going to pay for an iPad App that makes this workflow really simple, which will move our users away from Teams which is a real shame.

I completely agree with this. If Teams is going to be used across the different year groups, it needs to have a simpler interface for younger users. We are a small MAT of 5 schools and are struggling to encourage our Primary schools to use O365 over GSuite and Google Classroom. You are not going to succeed in making this area unless you cater for this group of users too.
I have literally just finished my first "All Staff Briefing" using Teams after cancelling my Zoom licence and am shocked that the recording feature does not record the spotlighted presenters!
What is the point in recording everyone else when you have chosen to spotlight everyone?
It is a real shame that I now have to look at going back to Zoom.
Does anyone know of a work around?
