My issue was that my headphones (wired, plugged into jack socket) were not working in Teams, sound only playing through laptop speakers. All settings in Teams were correct. However, if I plugged headphones in FIRST, then powered on laptop, all worked okay in Teams - but, if I then unplugged headphones and plugged in again, they no longer worked. Reboot needed. So, I upgraded to the latest Realtek audio drivers and bingo, issue totally resolved. Moral of the story is DRIVERS DRIVERS DRIVERS, make that your first troubleshooting step. Bill G.
