    Bump.
    Scheduling a new meeting is not always the purpose of checking availability.
    Being able to quickly check someone's future availability in teams, perhaps by adding an icon under their roll-over details, the same way outlook is able to show a pop-up of your personal calendar when using the HOME tab, would be efficient and should serve as a solution to many of the challenges detailed in the other comments.

    Bump.
    This enhancement would be extremely helpful as you don't always want to go through the extra steps of scheduling a meeting when trying to connect quickly with coworkers.
