The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.

You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.

    Thanks!

What I meant was that you can run 2 instances of the desktop Teams client (aka 2 Teams app windows side-by-side), logged in with 2 different work accounts - I didn't mean running web Teams in browsers. Again, it's not official, nor supported, just a workaround.

To all the commenters: there's a workaround that may be sufficient for many of you, i.e. you can run two (possibly more) instances of Teams, started as other user accounts in Win10 (runas). There's an extensive guide on the web, look it up, I've been using it for about 2 months now.
