As a workaround I created a flow that reads user principal name from Excel ..in a loop and add them to office 365 group ..so what you will do
1.Manually trigger flow
2.list rows present in a table
3. Apply to each --value
add member to groupI hope this gives you push into right direction as a workaround
We need option to add members at channel , users added to team might not be interested in the information shared on other channels, example : in a team there could be Leads and ops channel, people added in team are able to access information in all the channel which should not be the case
