Gordon, come on. Why should a private channel be treated any differently? We need our meetings and comments to be posted and retained in the channel for our weekly calls. Many thanks.

And more than simply category labels like in Outlook (which is also nice), but folders or some hierarchical organization structure. For example, I have a Team for each customer and I would like to group sets of customers in an account management folder (and perhaps in a regional subfolder) in order to reduce clutter and confusion with my other organizational department teams.

This is really basic functionality that would make Teams feel so much more tightly integrated and user-friendly. This similar functionality exists in MS File Explorer and it is an assumed piece of core functionality for MS Teams. Quite poor that something so simple has yet to be implemented.
Right-click to show the file path and the shortcut to take the user to the file location in a single click.

This continues to be on our backlog due to prioritization of other work items. We will update when there is more to share.

Basic functionality which will drastically increase flexibility and ease of use! Much too easy to set up the Teams/channel structure incorrectly when first getting started and there is not reason why this should be a permanent configuration. Please add this functionality in the near future.

I fully support the comments here. This is a significant weakness of the Teams offering and I am quite surprised as a new Teams admin. This is basic wiki functionality and now gives me significant pause about the decision to move my organization to Teams. Please address this in a timely manner and provide updates. Thank you in advance.
An absolute must-have as our organization has just decided to adopt Tasks by Planner across the entire organization.
