The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.

You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.

    Thanks!

    dear microsoft!
how long we still have to wait for this, to run various tenants with one client? the overhead workload to set this up for all our users is killing us. explaining this to the end user, why this is not implemented while useless gifs and stickers are does simply not compute!

please understand that this flaw is most important to fix NOW. working for three companies at the same time now means to have 3 instances of teams. 2 different browsers and the usual desktop client. or if you miss calls in your browser, you might also set up additional local windows user accounts for running separate teams desktop clients, that way you get all the notifications and can even call yourself. only flaw here is that you wont show as busy if you are in a call with one of your tenants. having three windows users for all your employees does also not really work with all company's security rules or licensing overhead.

please update roadmap and act now.

Status sorting is imparative. No movement after over 3 years?
