Found a very easy workaround.
WORKAROUND:
Download ManyCams (free version), select your camera in there
.
Then go into Teams settings > Devices > Select 'ManyCam Virtual Webcam' from your camera dropdown (You will see a clear and a bright preview right away).
This also works with teams background. So win win. Hope this helps, Enjoy
