    >Teams full desktop screen sharing is not usable when one person has a wide or high resolution screen. Others who do not have a similar monitor have no way to see or zoom adequately.

Actually, full desktop screen sharing is not usable even when the majority of us actually DO have identical resolutions (or resolutions that are scaled to be within a factor of each other) because there IS NO FULL SCREEN MODE.

I don't want to cast water on this, but without even a working full-screen mode for content sharing, it is doubtful any feature like this would or should be implemented.

By the way, there is a "zoom" feature allowing you to manually zoom into a certain part of the presenter's screen. It is (hilariously) parroted as a solution to the general absence of the fundamental feature to go full screen, but I think it would be better positioned to serve your use-case, as it effectively does just that -- it zooms in on a custom area of the presenter's screen, allowing you to see just the zoomed in area on your screen. Hold control and scroll with your mouse, or hit ctrl + or ctrl -

@Alex there has been an addition of a mode called "Full screen" to the new meetings experience. It does not go full screen. It is misleading and/or broken. Please do not remove this item from the backlog or mark it as complete. The addition of a fake/broken full-screen option into the new teams experience is WORSE than not having it at all, because it allows tricky developers to mark this ticket as "complete" when it couldn't be farther from the truth.

This is bordering on insulting. Please bring back actual full screen mode. Every other major teleconferencing app has had this for years. Skype for Business had this. It's a no-brainer.

The new solution in the latest update is terrible, as it removes the ability to go truly full screen when viewing shared content (such as screen sharing).

The solution is a floating control panel or one that appears when you press a button or hit escape or move your mouse or ANYTHING to interact with the screen. Not to permanently disable full-screen content sharing. It's one step forward, ten steps back.
