   We are continually working on improving battery life. One thing that may help in the meantime is using Dark theme, which was a top mobile request added to Teams mobile in February.

   The pinned "solution" above from Alex does not address the issue with the Teams app draining the battery even when not in use - I have force closed the app and it is still draining the battery on my iphone. Our team is very active on Teams, which is just making the battery drain worse.

   Turning on Dark Theme might be a great way to save the battery life when actively using the IOS app, but doesn't do a thing for the real problem
