Adding any emoji as a reaction remains under review.
I am marking this as partially done to let you know a new reactions bar with Like, Heart, Laugh, Surprised, Sad, and Angry has begun rolling out to all users.

Great suggestion for all STEM classes! I’ve moved this feature to ‘under review’.

This would definitely be useful for our company. We are transitioning to MS Teams from another platform where we have many automated systems that mention multiple users in channel (similar to Slack). As these system are transferred, we are losing the immediate visibility that powered these processes, resulting in much more manual work than before.
