Thank you for your feedback, the team has this request under review. We will share an update as soon as one is available.
In the meantime, you may want to try using the “Do No Disturb” status if you are in a call or meeting, and do not want to get call notifications (rings and toasts). For more information on the various status settings in Teams and how they effect your notifications, including call notifications, please visit https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/change-your-status-in-teams-ce36ed14-6bc9-4775-a33e-6629ba4ff78e.

Couldn't agree more. I don't know why Teams doesn't do this "out of the box". You can call the different numbers within a chat (clicking the phone icon allows you to choose a number), so why not something similar on speed dial? I would just expect this functionality. But, Team's is always full of surprise gaps that leave us scratching our head. It's getting better..

I am beyond shocked that the current pin management "solution" was even published in the admin center. There's nothing enteprise about it. Why in the world would anyone want everyone in the company to have the same device pin for accessing their phones? It's completely useless.
And, with calendars (by the way, PRIVATE meetings show up!) visible on phones (yes, on both PolyCom and YeaLink), this has to get addressed.
For now I suppose we're stuck manually setting unique pins at each desk phone. WOW WOW. We simply can't rolle this out enterprise wide with something that silly.
Please Microsoft - fix this! We want to use Teams phone devices!
(While you're add it, add an option to HIDE calendars on phones ... PLEASE!)

Ability to change hold music to something else would be a big benefit. Most ANY phone system the last 30 years can do this!

Same Issue with our Poly CCX 500 Teams phones. Absolutely crazy that calendar is displayed. I understand that someone probably thought this feature was helpful and convenient, but it's really NOT. Imagine a dozens of workstations in an open floorplan. You could cruise by and look at anyone's calendar. So, they say to "lock" the phone. That seems like a major inconvenience that users now have to lock and unlock their desk phones. This whole things may mean we really can't use Teams phones.

From our experience you have to have a Domestic Calling Plan License assigned to each Auto Attendant that you want to dial outbound. These Auto Attendants must also be assigned a Virtual Phone System License (Free). As soon as we had both these things assigned, we could transfer calls externally no problem. Took some figuring out before we confirmed this. Also gets very expensive -- in our case we have several auto attendants that each need to transfer calls. Each of those requires a Calling Plan license for $12/month even though they make very few transfers.

We need this feature as well and is standard in all our PBX systems. Would be great if we could use the AD telephone number extension feature (e.g., 5551112222;ext=123) to assign an extension to a Call Queue. Then users could dial the call queue from the auto attendant. Goes alow with what your saying -- need ability to transfer or dial the call queue directly. NEED THIS PLEASE! I can't figure out a workaround.
I could not agree more with this. IT is VERY annoying and our team that has call queues is going nuts with this. Teams already pops up on screen. Ability to disable the in ear "call waiting" type ring should be an option for sure.
