    To clarify, the change simply needs to be this...

    I am requesting that a change be made to allow the user to specify that the banner notification would be persistent. If you don't want it to be persistent, then give that option. Having said that, I want to be able to chat with my employees and that the chat message notification pops up as a banner and stays there until they either reply to my message...or they could ignore me by clicking the "x"...either way, they would be forced to do something with it. I would have it set up the same on my computer where the banner would be persistent so if I'm in a meeting it's an easy way for them to message me and notify me of whatever they are trying to reach me about.

    Currently, when someone messages me and I happen to miss the banner because I'm not looking at my computer at that time or in a conversation with someone, the only way to see that there is a message in the hopper to view and reply to is to click on the arrow that shows all the icons in the system tray where the Teams icon has a little red dot on it.

    I couldn't agree more. When you go to the notification settings, you should be able to select banner as the notification type and also that the notification would be persistent
