I resolved this by doing the following
Settings > Accounts > Access work or school
Remove all the other ID’s which you don’t want outlook to attach teams too
Exit outlook and open it again
If you have multiple office 365 email accounts it will ask you to re authenticate the others ones and that’s ok and if so you will note that the other account will appear back on the list for work or school accounts
Now make a teams meeting via outlook and it should have sorted its self out.

This resolved it for me when ever this sort of stuff happens (normally after a windows / office update to another revision). I guess if you still have the issue then I would remove all the ID’s and reboot and then open outlook and see what happens.

Then after that make a new outlook profile?

Either way you just need to clear out the identity you don’t want to useand you do that centrally in Settings > Accounts > Access work or school.

    Good luck!
