This is really needed by many!! Please try to make this available to GCC tenants, and if it already is but requires configuration, please post a link to how to turn it on and configure it.

If it isn't, why don't you create a whitelist of URLs that can be used with the Website tab, such as GCC SharePoint Tenant, SmartSheet.gov, Office365/Dynamics365/PowerPlatform, and anything that can be accessed from the O365 home page within the same tenant, as well as any OnPrem servers in the same client domain? That should allow you to keep certification since all the available URLs are already certified and/or belong to the owner of the Teams tenant. I'm certain you can build in some sort of validation and/or verification that the site meets GCC requirements before allowing it to be added to the whitelist and then only allow whitelisted URLs in the app.

It would also be good to be able to display dashboards from Service Center as tabs in Teams. We are using SMSC for our Help Desk. If we want Teams to be our one stop shop for tracking tasks, we either duplicate the tasks in both SCSM and Teams or we find a way to display the dashboard in Teams. Without the ability to whitelist URLs that can be added as tabs, this just isn't possible.

Another task tracker is TFS for the developers. Since we can't add a tab, we have to track in two places. If the developer is also getting tickets in SCSM, we now have three places to look for tasks.

I understand that you have to maintain certification, but isn't there a way to allow GCC certified URLs to be used? How about URLs within the entities own domain? I realize that these would be outside of the tenant, but there must be a way to recognize the customer's own domain.

I hope this is something that can be accomplished, and soon.

We use the SmartSheetGov and have a request from our teams to have their SmartSheets show in Teams Tabs. Please enable this connector for GCC tenants.
