Thank you for your continued feedback. The feature team is actively working on this feature as well as doing work to give users the choice to open Word/Excel/PowerPoint files by default in Browser, Office app or inside the Teams app. We will share an update here as soon as one is available.

I believe this is part of a biggers problem: conversations and channel updates being thrown together at the same place. For bigger Teams, this makes the General channel less useful than it could be - it ends up being just that, a place for automatic lines.

With our organization pushing Teams as a massive solution to Training and Education, this is a must.

Wikis are a great way to organize information. As others have said, it is way less useful than it could be with a search function.

We are aiming at using Teams as a primary virtual workplace with little use of external apps and tools. So this would help us a lot.

We are happy to announce that the New Conversation Button has started to roll to the general public, and should be rolled out 100% over the next week or so. We will share another update as soon as one is available.

A good user interface is essential to ensure colleagues will use Teams as recomended by the organization. We are experience a low adherence to it as a solution because of issues like this one. I understand we should invest in trainings, and we're doing so. But this one is a constant issue that makes working in channels really hard.

if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.

Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.

Thank you for your continued feedback. We are in the process of testing the downloading of the attendance report after the meeting has concluded. For status updates, please view the roadmap item here, https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=Microsoft%20Teams&searchterms=66459.

Download of the meeting attendance list during a meeting is released for general availability. Please note this feature is turned off by default, and needs to be enabled via admin policy. To learn more, please visit our support page at https://support.office.com/article/download-attendance-reports-in-teams-ae7cf170-530c-47d3-84c1-3aedac74d310.

[Automation] seems like a good solution. Once the meeting is over, the list could be automatically generated and saved (maybe to the organizer's OneDrive?).

Thank you for your continued feedback. As many people have pointed out, this is available on mobile today. Support for replying to a specific message is on the backlog for desktop. I’ll let you know when we have progress to share. Thanks.

Agreed. A not-so-good workaround is using the QUOTE function if it is a small post, or combine a partial quote with a link to post. Not ideal.

We are currently testing the ‘hard audio mute’ feature internally. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

To view this item on the roadmap, please visit https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=Microsoft%20Teams&searchterms=66575.

For the separate feature ask to disable attendee video, please track and/or upvote this suggestions: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103/suggestions/40255927.

Agreed. It is a matter of organization. Because of how the world is right now, our organizaiton has made a full move into Teams. However, many of our colleagues are still learning how to use it, so it isn't rare that we end up with unwanted audio and video - even after muting the participant. Would be greatly appreciated.
