If I'm understanding the complaints... "meeting toolbar hovers in the middle-bottom of the screen"...
This is addressed by enabling the New Meeting Experience in the Settings. Search "New Meeting Experience". It's all over the internet. -

Are you referring to the Sync button in the Files tab of a channel?

If you still happen to have Skype for Business (SfB) installed along with Teams...
SfB actually uses Windows own control panel settings for your camera; they are not specific to Skype. So, if you go into Skype and adjust your camera settings, it will automatically apply those settings to your Teams camera.
However, Windows 10 makes getting to that actual control panel setting very difficult, if not impossible, depending on the camera being used and the drivers installed for it.
Along those same lines, not all cameras have the same adjustments available to them. Again, it comes down to the driver package. -

In other words, provide us the same functionality that we had when we would Upload & Present a PowerPoint file in Skype for Business.
Does anyone know what the threshold time is that the "meeting has started" popup occurs?
For example, if I join a meeting 3 days early, I don't think people get the notification that the meeting has started. But if I join it 5 minutes early, they do. So what is that pre-meeting start time threshold for notifying/not notifying attendees?
