    This should not be limited to attendees outside of your organisation - if you have removed someone for being disruptive then there has to be a way to prevent them from rejoining the meeting.

    This will be useful in general - but I'm surprised it is not already a feature for educational settings.

    The simplest option I would see for this would be to keep the current option to "remove attendee" - (this is still useful if they need to leave the meeting but have technical issues) but to add a "remove attendee permanently" option.

    You can already do this in the meeting options - accessible via the calendar app in teams or by clicking Show Participants > More Options > Manage Permissions when in a meeting

    A big yes from me. I am a member of the learning and Development team in a unitary council using Teams. The extra functionality of the classroom (and educational functions in general) would be extremely useful.
