When we are using MS Team for a meeting, there are button in the middle of the screen that allow us to set the mute, settings or request for control.
The problem is we often accidentally click on the Request control button during the call. This easily create a disturbance when the presenter get a notification on the screen, it also disrupt the meeting in progress.
There is no way to avoid this as the Request control button is too large and the button’s position is dynamic, so anyone can accidentally click on the button without realizing.
For example, when you view the meeting in full size, clicking on the Show Attendees will resize the gallery view while showing the right panel of attendees in the call. The "Request control" happens to fall on the same spot where you click to show attendees list. I clicked twice and it sent a request for control to presenter. I cannot cancel it so it is disturbing.
If this button can be positioned better or minimized, it will help as not always we need to use this “Request control” during the meeting.Kong Ming Siem supported this idea ·
