I have again tested a Form Teams assignment that includes a photo upload and it is still not working within Teams. Yes, the Form does allow uploads if I share it with a link. But, the difficulty is that my VERY YOUNG students would have to log in to Microsoft in the browser window, doing so WITHOUT the Clever badge, AND still navigate back to Teams to mark the assignment as "Turned In." Additionally, students do not get my comments or their scores unless they use that web link back in the assignment description and do the whole sign in process again.

I MUST have photo/video uploads as part of my assignment Forms. And with grading and such being required, it is necessary to have all of this integrated in Teams.

Please find a way to fix this before we head back to school.

This feature request is being reviewed by the feature team. No new details to share at this time.

Meanwhile, feel free to share why you need this in class teams / staff teams, and what you need to see (ie # read / list of users read / timestamp of read) and for what purpose.

I agree with many here. Teachers need to know if messages have been read. However, just the message appearing on the screen does NOT mean it was read. Can we have a pop up or flag that students (or any message recipient) must click that confirms the message was read? It would not have to attach to every message. Please allow teachers to add an IMPORTANCE button to certain messages that recipients would have to click to confirm.

YES, GIVE TEACHERS MORE CHAT CONTROL. Teachers need to be able to turn chat on and off per Meeting, per schedule (on and off hours), and per student (as some children just abuse the feature). For some reason you allow us to have the on/off student posting control for the General Channel, but not the chat. Why? Also, in the General Channel we can allow or disallow "Fun Stuff". But you do not give us that control in Chats. Why?

We also need to be able to hide student chats that are inappropriate. Why allow students to go back and keep seeing what others did wrong? We do not leave cuss words and rude graffiti spray painted on the sides of our buildings for all to see. It gets removed or hidden. Seems easier to do digitally.

I want to try to provide clarity on the current functionality because we find that sometimes people are unaware of the settings available to tenant & team admins. There are three different types of edit/delete settings, all of which are switched on/off at the tenant or team level.
    1) Allow users to edit their own messages
    2) Allow users to delete their own messages
    3) Allow owners to delete all messages

    Tenant level settings:
Tenant admins can update capabilities from the “Messaging” section in the Admin center.
By default, allow users to edit/delete their own messages is ON at the tenant level (and therefore the team level).
By default, allow owners to delete all messages is OFF by default in all tenants, except in EDU where it is ON by default.

    Team level settings:
If edit and delete settings are enabled by the Tenant admin, team owners can also control…

How about the option to turn private chat off during class Meetings? Again, it would be an option, not mandatory for those teachers that find private messaging useful. Outside of class Meetings private chat can remain open. If teachers need students to use chat in their small groups, allow the breakout rooms to have chats that the teacher is automatically a member of and can view.

I cannot believe this has not been addressed in over 2 years. YES, GIVE TEACHERS MORE CHAT CONTROL.
