This also affects a user in our organisation. When looking to forward a particular appointment, whether than be an occurrence or series, the meeting URL is removed.
Creating a new meeting fixes the issue, however we're unsure as to why the appointment in question is erroneous.
We have internal attendees only in the meeting, and the meeting content is only the Teams URL and dial-in details - no attachments or anything which could corrupt the request.
The Calendar team is working thru plans for Meeting Delegation.
