This is especially an issue in the education version, where by default students join as Participants, and can mute and remote each other (and kids being kids...)! I raised a related request: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/40744447-mute-and-remove-participants-is-anonymous-it-sho where at a minimu, if someone does mute or remove you, the message should not be anonymous, and should tell you which participant did the deed!

Muting and removing participants should also not be anonymous - the person being muted/removed should know who has done it! In educational contexts, this is abused.

Especially in an educational setting, the ability for students to mute and remove other participants is a real issue. There should be an easy default to start meetings with the ability for only the teacher to do that. Also, when a participant mutes or removes another, the user being muted or removed is informed, but it is anonymous. Mischevious students are taking advantage of this - a simple deterrent would be for the message to indicate who has muted or removed you - this would be better anyway, since there are legitimate use cases for this as well, but it should be transparent to the participant who has done it.
It is essential for students to be able to see all unhanded in assignments, sorted by due date, across all classes - it is not practical at all to go into each class (team) individually.
