Why are all of the new updates enabled by default?

How do you turn this off? Why is this going to be enabled by default?

I do not know why you did, but I immediately demand to open the chats back. To make it my request, please

Please I see in my last teams client update the personal account connexion is available. Could you provide an admin option to block or permit this option. In our enterprise we don't want the use of personal account in any M365 application.

I noticed web AND desktop are now available. Unfortunately no incoming call notifications on the desktop app. I did file feedback. Hope it gets resolved quickly

Hi,
Desperately need this feature as a single parent with two young primary school students, currently fully remote due to school closure. I need to be able to answer their questions, send links and set reminders for their Zoom meetings, etc. Mobile app is quite useless for us, we need Desktop access. Decided to go with free Slack for the time being, but would rather use Microsoft product. I don't even mind paying for this - if it is reasonably priced or part of 365 offering - already subscribing to 365 Personal.
You are really missing the opportunity to build user-base here... There are lots of alternatives on Mobile, but very few offerings of safe and private team-style chat/sharing apps on Desktop. -

You are pushing Teams for every Microsoft 365 user in the Enterprise space. It is somewhat unfortunate that Skype for Business has already been End Of Life'd, and Skype is not truly a viable communications product any longer. Yet, when attempting to set up a personal use Teams account, I'm pointed to a far inferior and basically EOL Skype product. In fact, I have Skype turned off on all of my desktops upon startup, and rarely start the application at all.
Last time I checked, the Surface Pro series are some of the main target devices for products such as these...and they run Win10.
Skype is not a valid substitute product...sorry...really need to get this fixed! Other products beckon, and link with my OneDrive and Office apps well enough...

Now at work, they're all on WhatsApp on the web.
Microsoft can catch all the users with a desktop version. I bet this can become a WhatsApp killer (and more people buying MS subscription accounts along the way) -

Once the desktop version is available, Teams will skyrocket!
This is the one reason my colleagues stick to WhatsApp during working hours.
Get a desktop version and everybody switches!!
Don't put it on the back burner... -

This would be extremely useful for family members who don't use their phones in the same way. A desktop version would make planning together easier.

I'm considering using Teams for and NGO and the cloud synchronization for files in channels is one of the stoppers, as formerly they were using google drive

This could become a WhatsApp killer! But only if you can also use it from the desktop for when you're at work.

What is the ETA on this? Its the only blocker from keeping my family from jumping in.

Firstly, the desktop version of Teams for personal would be very appreciated. This will allow me to do some advanced settings and to send easily some files from my PC.
Secondly, I would like to have more choice on cloud synchronization by opting Google Drive or another cloud service to synchronise some files for a given conversation group (just like the professional version of Teams).
Thirdly, I would like to have some extension apps that will increase the efficiency of tasks on Teams (just like the professional version) like creating polls, new OneNote files...
Finally, some additional abilities such as Together mode and a video-call that can simultaneously display up to 49 people on a single screen would be very appreciated if they were available on Teams for Personal. ?
By the way, Microsoft, you did a great job! ?

This needs to happen ASAP!! First impression of a service is critical!
