Increase the number of videos during Team meetings from 4 to around 25.
Currently only 4 cameras are shown during a Teams meeting. We need to have up to 25 people showing instead of them rotating as they speak.
Also we need to be able to mark at least 4 people as always showing if the number of attendees goes over the max limit, such as the suggested 25 viewers.

We have released 3×3 video for all of the Government clouds, on desktop and mobile.
We will soon bring Large Gallery view to Microsoft Teams, providing a new way to view video up to 49 participants at once on a single screen (7×7). For Roadmap status of Large Gallery for Government clouds, please visit: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=Microsoft%20Teams&searchterms=66717

Windows 10 version already has the ability to display up to 6 participants.for some meeting participants. others on same call only see 4 of the 6. is this a function of screen resolution?

That is awesome! We are looking forward to the large gallery view so that we can see our team of 21 at the same time when their videos are on!
Much appreciated. -

We had this feature (Large Gallery & Together mode) but it has been removed for some reason and is no longer an option in our Teams Settings. Why is this?

Does this work on chromebooks? We are having trouble using the web based Teams to see grid view and pin speakers on a chromebook. Please help! Our son is not able to focus when he is distracted by other students!!!

As a further enhancement, I would like to be able to set my profile to automatically always show the large gallery view when more than 9 people join a TEAMS meeting.

You should add that the 3x3 feature is still not available for the Linux Desktop application, nor has Microsoft provided an ETA for this.

For 'town meeting' type webinars, it is extremely important that the meeting organizer can scroll through the attendees on the webinar. This is even more important when the meeting involves people with disabilities who have to raise their 'real hand' (not a computer icon) for questions.

For formal meetings such as board meetings, the organizer should have the ability to pin selected participants for them to be constantly appearing (even tho may not always be speaking) in the main screen among a pool of participants and such should also be reflected in all participants' screen as well.
Currently, i think only the user that pins will see it. It would be much better if the organizer can have more control on what is appearing on the participants screen.

Anonymous, It's rolling out to 3x3 now in GCC (through June, per a support tech I spoke with).
We saw it in our tenant last week. -

Agreed that this would be helpful. For public meetings, we would like to be able to keep the video feed showing for a certain number of participants - i.e. board or commission members - while having it rotate for other members (i.e. the public) based on who is speaking.

The NHS Board consists of more than 4 members, so it is essential we have more than 4 video calls in the meeting. Starting to look elsewhere which can be frustrating and costly

is the expansion of the number of videos to 9 going to be implemented for GCC customers too?

Translation to English: More than 4 video streams in a video would be more than helpful. Proposal - Extension to 16.

The current expansion to 9 is good, but expansion to 25 would eliminate the need to use both teams and zoom.
Additionally, being able to mark certain attendees to persistently show would also be helpful.

Will this be fixed when Commercial Teams is fixed in May 2020 or is GCC Teams separate?
