  3. Status Dashboard for parity with non gov teams features

    Various connectors (Forms, 3rd party app connectors, one note until recently) are missing from Teams in Gov.
    We know that Gov teams lags behind the non-gov version, but the lack of a roadmap or page which clearly provides a status of what is and is not working in gov is making user support difficult.
    Our users read official Microsoft Teams documentation, see no additional insight about gov tenants, and expect features to work (like @forms quick-polls in chat, integration thru 3rd party connector to on on-prem git, etc, etc)

  5. multiple identities access

    in my organization we use different identities in our communications and daily work. In a daily bases we need to connect to different MS teams instances using different identities.

    It would great if, as in OneDrive or Outlook, MS teams Allow to have different users setup. this will make the switch between organizations simple.

  6. MS Project integration with Teams

    I’d like to be able to integrate MS Project online with MS Teams such that the Project application is made available through the Teams “add a tab” functionality. Currently, searching for “project” yields no resulting apps that I can add as a tab. Planner does show up, but not Project.

  7. Allow muting channel conversations

    This is a feature that exists in the commercial version.

    Allow muting notifications for a conversation. If you've participated in a conversation, and it has a lot of activity, you get a notification for every post. I would like the ability to mute a conversation that I would normally get notifications for, temporarily. This shouldn't affect other conversations.

  10. New customizable indicator like the the small circle that identifies your current status

    With distributed working becoming the norm and the workforce using different modes and tools to communicate, it would be great for coworkers to know how individuals can communicate. This could be done by adding another indicator like the exiting status indicator (but maybe a square). The organization would develop the 'legend' for the different colours. E.g., I am someone in the OPS that is ready and able to have a fully enabled Teams meeting = purple, I use Teams, but I'm new at it = light purple, I am currently only landline telephone enabled = blue, etc. etc. Potentially this…

    Setup the option to create automated reminders such as
    "meeting in 30 minutes"
    "Timecards are due at 2pm"

    Etc.

    Slack and other tools have a /remind command for this.

  14. Join teams together

    Most of our teams are low level operations and often interdepartmental. Sometimes how ever there is a higher level requirement and cross departmental. This currently means setting up a new team and having someone manage all the members. This is way to much work when you consider that the members are already there in the lower level groups, therefore I think there is a strong need for a tool that can group teams together.

  15. Keep pinned posts visible in channel

    When a post is pinned in a channel, keep that post visible at the bottom of the channel at all times.
    Pinned posts are used for important announcements and information, and hiding them in information pane of a channel does not allow for using them as an effective announcement. Pinned posts in a channel should be shown to all users immediately when they open the channel.

  16. Pop-out Chat and/or Participants window options within Meetings

    As a Teams Meeting user, I would like the ability to enhance my options for viewing the Chat (or meeting conversation) and/or the Participants List with a "pop-out" feature.

    The ability to pop-out these areas (similar to the existing fly-out or pop-out option for a Teams personal chat) would allow users to:

    • Enable an option to utilize the Meeting screen real estate more efficiently when viewing and/or sharing content and video.
    • Permit users to resize the amount of space the pop-out chat or participant list takes up on their individual monitor(s) or screen(s) with ease.

  17. Please add Live Polling functionality to all Teams, Channels, Meetings, and Chats

    Teams should allow the ability to take live polls within any Team, Channel, Meeting or Chat; and then allow results to be posted to either the originator of the poll, or all participants (depending on settings).

  18. Enable share system audio for Team Live Event on GCC, so that we can share a video with audio.

    The commercial cloud has this enabled already. You're able to share a video as content during a live event and include the system audio. However, GCC doesn't have this feature. Please enable this for GCC!!

  19. Enable Better Eye Contact, Move Video Ribbon to Top During Screen Sharing

    When someone is screen sharing, videos of participants are move to a ribbon at the bottom of the screen. Most (though not all) webcams are positioned at the top of the screen.

    Moving the ribbon to top of the screen would allow for the appearance of better eye contact. At least when people are not looking at the shared content.

  20. MTR Teams - support second MTR camera (front & rear) for presenter / training spaces

    On the Skype for Business MTR (SRS v2) there is the ability to connect 2 video cameras to the room system and users can toggle between the cameras during a call if required. (front and rear camera)
    This is a crucial capability for a number of business use cases such as presenting to a remote audience or training sessions to local and virtual participants.
    Please enable this feature on the Teams MTR and allow the selection of which should be default and allow renaming of the cameras (for a usable and differing name via settings features).
