  1. Add a virtual, "I agree with this"

    Similar to the new hand raising option, which is really helpful, how about a way to say I agree with the current speaker. It could either be something switched on and off or you can press the button to "send" an agreement. Almost a virtual, "hear hear" - so people don't have to come off mute to say they agree whennthey don't have anything else to add to the conversation.

  3. Interchangeability of calendar and invitation/reminder functions in Teams and Outlook

    Need full access to Outlook calendars and an option to have email invitations and reminders for meetings interchangeable/in-sync with Outlook.

    Interchangeability of Outlook and Teams calendars and email invitations/notifications for meetings needed; Teams lacks the full suite of options available in Outlook, but the calendar/invitation/reminder function of Teams should really be fully interchangeable and compatible with Outlook. Otherwise, it leads to confusion.

  4. pin a comment in a chat or channel

    Allow owners to pin a comment in a chat or channel so you can either direct people to another chat or channel. or lock a message. The pin locks the message at a point that is visible to all and doesn't move from the pin space when people scroll through the chat. Example: pin a notice that they are in an old chat and a new chat is on another <channel> or <chat> and this channel will not be monitored on a regular basis. And after a time the chat will be unavailable.

  5. Organizer

    I’d like to see an option to assign multiple people to the organizer role in Teams. This will provide for greater flexibility in rescheduling or modifying meetings if the primary organizer is unavailable or unable to do so without the need to delegate your account fully to others. This is sometimes not feasible or desirable.

  6. Add Azure DevOps apps in Teams for GCC

    Is there any ETA when Azure DevOps apps like 'Azure Boards',, 'Azure Pipelines' etc will be available for Teams for GCC. Currently there is nothing in M365 Roadmap regarding that: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=GCC

  7. Improve Breakout Room Funtionality

    I work for a state agency and we utilize Teams to do training. When training, we have multiple trainers that train most sessions. It would be highly beneficial if any meeting member listed as a presenter could both create/send attendees into breakout rooms as well as having the capability of moving in and out of breakout rooms freely. The way it is currently set up, only the the Organizer has these abilities which only allows one trainer to monitor breakout rooms and assist participants.

  8. Allow for presenter to see chat and hand raised

    In Teams meetings, the presenter cannot monitor the chat box or the hands raised, which makes presenting really clunky. Inevitably someone needs to monitor the chat box and interrupt the presenter rather than allowing the presenter to handle it when they want.

  9. Team planner expansion

    You need to expand upon the planner and it’s capabilities as a self planner as well as tasking groups of people or individuals to a task and tracking their progress both as an individual as well as a group

  10. Convert a team into a channel

    If we didn't plan ahead, or if needs change, we should be able to convert a team into a channel then move it to another team. Rather than have Team A, B, C, and D, it would be nice to have Mgmt Team with Channels A, B, C, D. However, it seems once you've created the separate teams you are stuck with that structure.

  11. notification

    So you know how you can turn on the notification "all activity" for a channel in a team. It would be nice to be able to turn on and off "all activity notification" for one whole team that is separate from other team. Not notifications for the whole app.

    Example : Click on the 3 dots beside the team name ( drop down menu - manage team, add channel, add member etc..) not general and have an option that states "turn on all notification" in that drop down menu that way you don't have to it individually for each channel.

  12. Provide ability to remove users added to recurring meetings' chats

    *Reposting another users suggestion from the Public User Voice*

    We have the following scenario that cannot be remedied without deleting a recurring meeting:
    1. User A and B have a recurring weekly meeting in Teams.
    2. User C is invited to join the call on this meeting during one instance.
    3. Even though User C has not been invited to the recurring meeting, User C now has access to the Teams chat of the subsequent recurring meeting instances.
    This seems like a huge bug that you cannot remove a user from seeing the chat of a meeting to…

  13. Mic default to off

    As mentioned in the non-gov Teams idea lists, the mic should default to off when people are joining a meeting. At the very least, make this a user option.

    A related, nuanced option would be to give an admin control to pin certain people (presenter) to on, so that they are untouched by the "Mute All" button.

  14. Allow the ability to have a confidential discussion during a public live event

    We need the ability to switch to private mode for internal confidential discussion during a public Teams live event and then back to public mode. During the private discussion time, we should be able to have a message being displayed on the screen for example streaming will proceed soon.

  15. Disable email notifications for comments on Planner Tasks

    I want an option to disable whole group email/notifications for new comments. You can't disable this and it is causing inbox spam.

    Comments are not needed to be shared to the entire group, I don't see a reason why anyone would ever want this, especially when there can be multiple plans per group. If I want a single group for my department, we will want multiple plans to track all of our projects. Users want to be able to add comments to track changes and issues along the way, without email blasting everyone in the whole group.

  17. Enable participant to remove their own video from their screen while still being visible to others.

    If you could toggle off the video screen showing while still keeping the video feed for others it would mean one more team member was visible to you. Many people find their own video disconcerting and distracting. If they could toggle it on and off it would actually enable more natural behaviour. An icon would be required to let them know they were still steaming with it toggled off.

  20. Overall dashboard for planner in teams

    In teams it would be nice to have a consolidated roll up of planner events. If it showed just a percentage and the name of the planner group would be helpful.
