Our audit and investigations teams maintain a public facing “hotline” for the general public to report fraud, waste and abuse. Being an easily found an accessible number we receive a lot of abusive type of calls from the general public which may or may not concern our office. We currently maintain a “list” of the repeat offenders and now it is responsibility of whoever is answering these calls to identify the number and send to voicemail. As you can imagine, there are issues with this manual process. I have inquired if we can simply block the callers and the response I received from legal is that we need to be able to receive the call which would include voicemail. We would like to see the ability to automatically route callers that we specify to voicemail with in Teams.
