Layout on Desktop App
- The layout of the desktop app is terrible. There is tons of unused empty space. On top of that, things are needlessly busy and contain too much oddly formatted information. This may be in part due to the naming scheme the gov't uses, but an option should exist to create and view nicknames.
Because of this, there really isn't an option to minimize teams to a small area on your monitor. You need it maximized to be usable, but it clearly doesn't actually require that much space to be functional.
There should also be a way to minimize it to a very small space and lock it to be in front of all other apps, so you dont have to constantly be clicking between apps.
- This feedback forum is terrible. I almost didn't even bother leaving a comment. I'm already taking time out of my day to suggest improvements to your product for free. You really expect people to wade through all the BS of this process and post something? Just make it easy to submit a comment, and hire a couple people to sort through them, organize them by category and set priorities. You are microsoft, you clearly have the budget to support that, but instead we are expected to give you free labor on top of our potentially money making/saving suggestions.
