Meeting Minutes for Chat
Now that we’re having more and more meetings in Teams Chat, we’re finding a great fringe benefit: We literally get minutes of those chats for free. We can cut down on having the same conversations multiple times with multiple people just by sharing those minutes. However, copying and pasting is currently finickity, so my idea is to add a feature to support this directly.
Click a button at the start of chat which says “Minute meeting.” When participants enter that chat, they see a banner which says “This meeting is being minuted and will be shared.” A second “Copy Minutes to Clipboard” button allows the user to curate and share those minutes.
The “Minute meeting” button can be clicked retrospectively, for example at the end of a chat, and in this case all participants are presented with a retroactive inline permissions prompt: “[Username] wants to share [these minutes > expand view] - Is this OK? YES/NO” to which all participants must agree in order to copy the content. This is particularly useful when two or three people are chatting and later realise they have made useful progress which they would like to share.

Yes it will be great if we can add optional minutes of meeting which will be save for every meeting or it can be part of Microsoft 365 apps
