Please make virtual classrooms available in teams. Right now when you teach or manage a virtual classroom, no matter how much you prepare or do pre course work. it does not matter if at the last minute the system is down. If there is a way to be able to "prep" and virtual classroom and load the videos, interactive class content and any tools the instructor would need for the virtual session, where you don't have to try and load and hold all that content just prior to class start, that would be great.
Thank you

This is a HUGE yes vote for me! I am a subject matter expert & provide training for many employees through the year. Added classroom functionality would be incredibly helpful for the many virtual training sessions we have done and will continue to do in the foreseeable future. We have used Webex, Webex Training, and MS Teams for training and so far the best virtual training platform is Webex Training. It allows you to have breakout sessions, easier/more fluid interaction with attendees; whiteboard capabilities, etc. If these functions were available to us in MS Teams, I would happily use it instead of Webex Training.

A big yes from me. I am a member of the learning and Development team in a unitary council using Teams. The extra functionality of the classroom (and educational functions in general) would be extremely useful.

I vote YES for this also. There is a lot of training going on in local government that has had to move over to Teams with varying success. An option to have the Teams a Education environment for trainers would be a true boon. I feel like a child with my nose up against a sweet shop window when I compare the two and look at the road map for MS Teams Education. On our tenancy we would also like to be able to invite external guests into this experience. Also, I would like to be able to autoplay YouTube videos inserted into Powerpoint and shown through Teams, rather than attendees have to kick off their own stream.

I vote yes! Our New Employee Orientation will remain virtual even once things get back up and running. By having a Classroom setting available for Government will ensure that our employees aren't randomly joining TEAMS. We would be able to better manage our classes, in addition to New Employee Orientation.

Voto SIM! As empresas tem suas áreas de treinamento. Com o teletrabalho, o ensino a distância é a solução.
Sinto falta de uma funcionalidade que dê suporte as aulas corporativas. -

Adding a classroom to MT's would bring it into a Learner's Platform for many within the public service. I find that MT's is a learner's platform already, it is all in the design of your course and a well rounded knowledge of the apps available. However, it currently holds the distinction of a video conferencing platform. Adding a classroom would bring it into a class unto itself and bring a lot more people aboard the Teams train.

I vote yes. The option for classroom in Teams for Government is needed due to social distancing for the completion of training for probationary employees. This would also allow flexibility in the agency's ability to continue hiring needed staff to fill vacancies.

I vote yes. Training was just getting started when COVID-19 hit and this halted the process. We need this function to get training started again!
