CVR Teams does not work thru DoD firewalls well
Teams features such as Voice and video Do not work acceptably between folks on DoD networks such as AFNET and folks on commercial connections. We need Teams to not require network re-engineering to make it work

The ONLY selling point of CVR Teams is communication and collaboration on and off .mil networks without requiring CAC access (how folks haven't figured CAC access from personal machines in this day and age is beyond me, but a separate soap box.
If we cannot hold meetings and conferences between teleworkers and on-site/in the office workers, half the benefits are lost.
Just trying to participate in a conference call (no video) is riddled with echo, electronic feedback, and crackling.

Hear, hear. Not only this, but the requirement to always put in a code texted to one's phone for EVERY LOGIN is not only annoying, but in certain DoD spaces, personal electronic devices are not allowed, and in those spaces, the requirement to type in a texted code is impossible

You do realize the POINT of the CVR Teams was that you are supposed to access it OFF the VPN, right? If you're ON the VPN, you should be using the standard Teams for Gov that is enabled on your desktop. D'oh.
