Hi there, you’ve reached the user feedback site for Microsoft Teams. It’s managed by our Customer Advocacy Team inside Microsoft Teams Engineering led by Karuana Gatimu.   1. Add Breakout room capabilities like in Adobe Connect.

    In Adobe Connect you can have breakout rooms for people to attend. this would be a great feature to add to teams and teams live.

  2. groups as folders to not have as many TEAMS in view

    Good evening, I am a group administrator, I wanted to know if there will be the possibility of grouping groups into higher ranking groups such as folders so as not to have as many TEAMS in sight

  3. Switching channels from private to public or public to private

    Understanding that 'used' chats (any team/channel that has comments from other members besides the owner) may have privacy issues, it would benefit us (the owners/creators) that while figuring out how our team is to be built, we would be allowed edit rights to move channels from public to private, and private to public (especially when no one has submitted anything in there other than the owner). It's frustrating that one must go in and create a whole new channel with a modified name (because the old channel, regardless if it's been erased or not, is still using that original name),…

  4. Switch calls between devices

    A user should have the ability to start a call on one device and transfer the call the another device to continue the conversation without having to disconnect the call

  5. New customizable indicator like the the small circle that identifies your current status

    With distributed working becoming the norm and the workforce using different modes and tools to communicate, it would be great for coworkers to know how individuals can communicate. This could be done by adding another indicator like the exiting status indicator (but maybe a square). The organization would develop the 'legend' for the different colours. E.g., I am someone in the OPS that is ready and able to have a fully enabled Teams meeting = purple, I use Teams, but I'm new at it = light purple, I am currently only landline telephone enabled = blue, etc. etc. Potentially this…

  6. Use Office Spellcheck

    Please integrate O365 spellcheck. The one what is currently in place is terrible.

  9. Paging, pinging, or otherwise getting attention of a meeting participant

    In meetings, I want to be able to page, ping, or otherwise get the attention of a meeting participant. For example, if a specific person needs to answer a question, mute their background noise, etc., we should be able to click a button to get their attention. People's attention often wanders during online meetings, especially if they weren't expected to be answering questions.

  10. Allow phone / mobile and computer login simultaneously (multiple devices)

    Please make it possible to join a meeting simultaneously using a single account with multiple devices, enabling phone audio (with app mute controls) and computer for chat.

  11. Mic default to off

    As mentioned in the non-gov Teams idea lists, the mic should default to off when people are joining a meeting. At the very least, make this a user option.

    A related, nuanced option would be to give an admin control to pin certain people (presenter) to on, so that they are untouched by the "Mute All" button.

  15. Allow call queue members to see call queue call history including missed calls from Teams client

    Please add a feature so that members of a call queue can look at the call queue history, including missed calls, from within the Teams desktop client.

  16. Channel moderators to "review" posts prior to them going LIVE?

    I noticed there are limited setting in the channels and we are utilizing a channel page for other team members to post to share thoughts and ideas. However, as the owners of the page or moderators, we would like to review the posts before they are submitted. Is there a feature for this? If not, please add this. This is a feature similar to how Facebook is set up in receiving notifications of posts on a timeline, etc.

  18. MTR Teams - support second MTR camera (front & rear) for presenter / training spaces

    On the Skype for Business MTR (SRS v2) there is the ability to connect 2 video cameras to the room system and users can toggle between the cameras during a call if required. (front and rear camera)
    This is a crucial capability for a number of business use cases such as presenting to a remote audience or training sessions to local and virtual participants.
    Please enable this feature on the Teams MTR and allow the selection of which should be default and allow renaming of the cameras (for a usable and differing name via settings features).

  19. Ability to email .gov email addresses.

    Emailing people from within my organisation without govteams would be very helpful.

  20. Paste a list of attendees emails into Teams Meeting invite.

    Have the ability to copy and paste a list of emails into the required attendees when inviting people to a Teams meeting. Major pain having to add one by one, especially when there are a large number.
