  1. Team planner expansion

    You need to expand upon the planner and it’s capabilities as a self planner as well as tasking groups of people or individuals to a task and tracking their progress both as an individual as well as a group

  2. Ability to archive and file Chat conversations

    I would like to be able to archive chat into a place like Conversations in Outlook like Skype does.

    In the case of Channel Chats, it would be good to be able to attach them to Meeting Notes or archive the chat conversations into a document library.

    We deal with NEPA and contracting and would appreciate that capability.

  3. Allow creation of meetings for a Private Channel ONLY

    Many folks in organization have private channels for management. From lower management executive private channels. We wish to create a video conference/meeting for a specific private channel only. Currently only Public Channels have this option. This is huge and I cant imagine others not needing this. We also hold specialized training for specific individuals who are part of a private group. We cant create these training sessions by simply sending meeting to specific private channel. Only work around is individually typing everyone’s name. We have over 35k employees. This seems like it would have been implemented from day one but…

  4. Would like the ability to turn off entering and exiting sounds during a meeting.

    Entering and exiting notification sounds are extremely distracting during a meeting - especially when the meeting is configured to allow everyone to pass thru the lobby. We need the ability for presenters and organizers to mute all entering and exiting notification sounds when the meeting has begun and the ability for the organizer to set a meeting to not have entering and exiting audible notification sounds.

  5. Meetings - screen sharing - switching screens/apps

    When sharing a screen and changing from sharing an app to a screen, or an app to an app, or a screen to an app, you shouldn't have to end the sharing session to change so that the transition is less jarring.

  6. Create a report which will list all attendees and log in / log out times

    Would like ability to see attendee report which includes all attendees and their log in/log out times.

  8. Provide ability to remove users added to recurring meetings' chats

    Reposting another users suggestion from the Public User Voice

    We have the following scenario that cannot be remedied without deleting a recurring meeting:
    1. User A and B have a recurring weekly meeting in Teams.
    2. User C is invited to join the call on this meeting during one instance.
    3. Even though User C has not been invited to the recurring meeting, User C now has access to the Teams chat of the subsequent recurring meeting instances.
    This seems like a huge bug that you cannot remove a user from seeing the chat of a meeting to which they…

  9. Switching channels from private to public or public to private

    Understanding that 'used' chats (any team/channel that has comments from other members besides the owner) may have privacy issues, it would benefit us (the owners/creators) that while figuring out how our team is to be built, we would be allowed edit rights to move channels from public to private, and private to public (especially when no one has submitted anything in there other than the owner). It's frustrating that one must go in and create a whole new channel with a modified name (because the old channel, regardless if it's been erased or not, is still using that original name),…

  10. Live polling and survey capabilities.

    We currently use MS Forms, but need the ability to post surveys live on the screen during a workshop and obtain answers immediately to show polling data/answers.

  11. Allow the ability to have a confidential discussion during a public live event

    We need the ability to switch to private mode for internal confidential discussion during a public Teams live event and then back to public mode. During the private discussion time, we should be able to have a message being displayed on the screen for example streaming will proceed soon.

  12. Allow Teams Custom Apps/Bots in GCC

    Allow GCC customers the ability to upload custom apps/bots to Teams and enable the 'Manage Apps' section for GCC customers under 'Teams Apps' in the admin portal. Third party apps are now available (apparently), but custom apps aren't, doesn't make sense....

  13. Add Azure DevOps apps in Teams for GCC

    Is there any ETA when Azure DevOps apps like 'Azure Boards',, 'Azure Pipelines' etc will be available for Teams for GCC. Currently there is nothing in M365 Roadmap regarding that: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=GCC

  14. Add Publisher application to TEAMS application

    Add Publisher application in TEAMS. I am currently in a Newsletter team made up of four individuals. It would be nice if we could all create/access and update the newsletter in TEAMS as we do with other applications. Not all team members are able to access certain drives so it complicates matters at times. Thank you for your consideration.

  15. Chat History function when adding +1 user to an existing one on one chat

    Allow "chat history" function when adding a single user to a pre-established 1:1 chat with another user. Right now I can only add or remove chat history once I already have a group of three or more, not when I add a single user to an existing 1:1 chat with another user.

  16. Add a virtual, "I agree with this"

    Similar to the new hand raising option, which is really helpful, how about a way to say I agree with the current speaker. It could either be something switched on and off or you can press the button to "send" an agreement. Almost a virtual, "hear hear" - so people don't have to come off mute to say they agree whennthey don't have anything else to add to the conversation.

  17. Have a set of key words for alerting

    I understand the Search and Filter functions, but am suggesting being able to set key words and get alerts when those words are posted.
    The ability to set key words that alert you if mentioned by anyone within any of the channels to which you subscribe.
    The ability to set key words in specific channels that may be different than and in addition to the main set of key words.

  18. New customizable indicator like the the small circle that identifies your current status

    With distributed working becoming the norm and the workforce using different modes and tools to communicate, it would be great for coworkers to know how individuals can communicate. This could be done by adding another indicator like the exiting status indicator (but maybe a square). The organization would develop the 'legend' for the different colours. E.g., I am someone in the OPS that is ready and able to have a fully enabled Teams meeting = purple, I use Teams, but I'm new at it = light purple, I am currently only landline telephone enabled = blue, etc. etc. Potentially this…

  20. Mic default to off

    As mentioned in the non-gov Teams idea lists, the mic should default to off when people are joining a meeting. At the very least, make this a user option.

    A related, nuanced option would be to give an admin control to pin certain people (presenter) to on, so that they are untouched by the "Mute All" button.
