Add the Templates function for Teams to the GCC like it is currently in Commercial Tenant

I would like the ability to promote an existing Channel so that it becomes a Team (similar to being able to promote a Planner checklist item to a Planner task). Conversely, being able to demote a Channel into a Team would be useful.

Make Contacts a dedicated feature in MS Teams that look and act more like Skype for Business. I don't know why you threw away all that functionality for this embarrassment of a contact list buried in Teams Chat with no useful features.

It would be helpful to have the feature that used to exist in Skype that in Teams…..

I use the teams chat for an important group and I am constantly signed out of teams. I rely on a lot of these notifications for my job and aprproving risk assements. When I have been signed out I don't get any notifications. Make it an option to stay signed in! And make more than one option to verify your account.

DoD needs the block presence capability IAW UCR and as worded currently in Teams: i.e. "When you block someone, they can't call you from a one-on-one chat, @mention you in a one-on-one chat, or see your presence." This is not supported in DoD or GCC as stated in the application.

I work in a building that doesn’t allow cell phones & unauthorized electronic devices. We also alternate teleworking in the schedule.

There is no way I can use my work phone as an authenticator & still be able to use text authentication at home. Give us the option to choose. Right now I’m forced to reset two-way authentication every time I switch between work/home & it’s a real pain.

allow team channels to be configured as "linear" or "conversation" mode, where "linear" mode is similar to a chat type experience where messages are sequential rather than being "form posts+reply" style.

Our Teams are currently created by the Teams admins.
Their names are carefully chosen.
The Team Owner should NOT be able to change the Team from the name the Teams Admin has set, especially in Government tenants.

In the mean time, the Teams admin in government tenants should have an alert/report that shows when Teams have been renamed.

In teams, Chat on mobile shows the number of new or unread posts, but it doesn't tell me which ones they are. I have 3 new items, but can't figure out where they are. I have about 12 that are bold, some of those are old meetings , not sure why they are still bold. I can't filter to just show the 3 new ones either. How do I find the new ones?

Information within the Wiki feature of Teams does not appear to be searchable.

Wiki is a great tool and I love it, however, we have stopped using it because it is so difficult to find things when you get a lot of content.

Please include Wiki pages in Teams search.

Make the caption show more than 2 lines at a time so if the user looks away for a few seconds he is not lost.

Would like to see channels on Teams have a pop out feature. Some users have asked if they can have a channel pop out as a new window to reference documents or other material as needed without leaving their primary channels that are being worked on.
