Allow the ability to pass control over Breakout rooms to another participant
Currently only the meeting organizer has control over breakout room. It would be beneficial to have the ability to pass or add another participant the ability to control the breakout rooms.

I am an independent facilitator working for big companies. As the facilitator, I need to be able to create and manage breakout rooms for small group discussions. It will be great if the organizer can assign that function to a 'guest facilitator/presenter.

It is critical for us to have the ability to pass meeting control to another person. I also agree that it would be important to allow other meeting organizers to also be able to start/set-up break out rooms.

A more powerful idea would be to allow meeting organizers to designate co-meeting organizers and/or transfer the entire meeting organizer role to someone else.

totally agree with this, would be very helpful as the organiser may either be the main presenter or an admin team not present

Breakout rooms are great when larger meetings need to be divided into smaller meetings, but attendees may need to return or move between various discussions. Instead of repeatedly ending and joining the meeting, the movement between rooms was smooth. I'm very impressed.
I also created a tutorial on how to use Teams room breakouts here:

We need this functionality to pass control when providing content among multiple instructors and facilitators.

Our org uses at least 2 facilitators for training. It is important for them to share control of all session interaction. WebEx allows it.

This functionality is crucial. This allows Trainers, ID's to collaborate with participants on new training, existing training and enhancements.
Also, there my be times when a meeting is scheduled and the person that created it is off. This allows someone else to jump in and take over, without having to waste time creating another meeting and disrupting the training session.

If this functionality was added, and the ability to opt people into moving rooms freely it would be a great tool for PI planning in scaled agile

Please add this functionality to MS Teams. When using Teams to conduct a training session, it's necessary to share control between presenter and producer/co-facilitator like we're able to do within WebEx.

The breakout function is excellent, but only being available to the meeting organiser is a real limitation, especially for organisations that have admin support set up the meetings, so the 'organiser' isn't in attendance. Having the option to nominate a number of participants to be able to control or roam breakout rooms would be much better. It would also be good if breakout rooms could be set up prior to the meeting being held.

Greetings. I co-facilitated a meeting yesterday with a Training Consultant with 40+ Coaches, Supervisors, Managers and Trainers and the loved the interaction of the breakouts. Having the ability to have more "meeting organizers" to create the breakouts and also bounce back and forth between the breakouts would be beneficial to have a successful engaging delivery. It will help with the facilitation. One could be the "producer," the other the speaker at a given time - sharing the responsibilities.

It is absolutely necessary to share control between multiple presenters and facilitators. Without this critical functionality, we will be unable to leverage Teams for several training classes.

I was really excited to get the breakout functionality to utilize in an upcoming workshop but the facilitators and producers are often not the meeting organizers which presents an issue when managing breakouts. This is a fairly large issue when facilitating for larger sessions where multiple people are involved in organizing, scheduling, facilitating and producing the meetings. Being able to pass along breakout functionality to others is really critical. Please consider adding it.

Many times there is more than one facilitator so having multiple people who can manage this would be great!
